“Johnny And The Kid” will be free this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 2, 3, and 4 on Amazon.com, and if you like a good-old-fashioned western like those Elmore Leonard or Louis L’Amour or T.T. Flynn used to write with action from the first page, you’re gonna love this one.

We’re putting “Johnny” up for free because it’s the first in a series and the second book, “Johnny And The Preacher” is on the horizon, so you’ll want to get in on the excitement at the start!

Johnny is a gunfighter, not because he wanted to be but because of how things worked out, and he’s the best. The day he isn’t, I guess the series will end. Unlike other gunfighters, Johnny has a strong sense of justice and an impetuousness that just keeps getting him into trouble. Damsels in distress and all that.

So yawl enjoy the story of how it all started and stay in your saddle and hang on to your hat because there’s a lot more to come.
